They were designed in collaboration with a group of German musicians who tested different models until obtaining the desired one. They are made on a 3.4 mm segment. ground to 3.0 mm. This leaves the scraping in the most vibrant area of the reed and results in a brilliant sound. Their shallow shoulders draw a tighter crescent. This helps maintain tuning despite being an extremely flexible and spontaneous reed.

FOF

The FOF reeds for Bb clarinet are the result of a long work carried out together with a group of clarinetists friends, who were looking for a model that would meet their high requirements. In honor of them, this model is called FOF (For Our Friends).
With an American cut, long and elastic scraping, these reeds are made from 3.6 mm thick segment rectified to 3.18 mm. Its pronounced conicity leaves the tip freer to vibrate, due to this it is necessary to pay attention to its centering when placing it. The scraping is characterized by having a thicker heart than a classic reed, which is compensated because it is very pronounced in the shoulder area, which frees it in vibration, achieving an excellent balance between treble and very deep bass.

The GD reeds for Bb clarinet owe their name to the union of the Gonzalez and Davolos families, current owners of the brand.
Designed for great soloists looking for a deeper and superior sound. It is made exclusively with our best material, with a larger diameter, a thickness of 3.15mm, and a minimum aging of 3 years. It has a longer scraping area and more wood in the heel, making it a more vibrant and durable reed. Furthermore, its hardness is divided into 1/4 for a more precise choice.
